Price Quotes & Estimates

   Our Policy for payment is 1/3 down in advance, 1/3 when your book is ready to go to press and the remaining 1/3 before we ship your  books to you. Quite often there is an additional balance due after printing due to our 10% overrun and underun policy (see below).

   Payment may be made by check, money order or credit card. We accept Master Card, Visa and Discover. Please remember that work cannot begin on your book without receipt of your first installment payment, nor can the remaining steps be completed without receipt of the remaining installment payments. This is important if you are to receive your books on time as planned. As with any holdup in the production process, any delay in any part of that process necessarily means a delay in the eventual delivery of your books.

   With each quote given, an estimated production time is given in working days. These working days are counted Monday through Friday, excluding all holidays. Any completion date (calculated from the estimated production time) is not a delivery date. Please allow sufficient transportation time to receive your order. Please check with us for any extra charges on any rush orders.

Production / Over-run Policy

    Please Note:

1. Our estimated production time CAN ONLY be kept when drafts and proofs are returned within 3 working days of receipt, with changes or corrections marked (preferably in RED INK). No corrections will be taken over the phone.

2. Your progressive payments must be made on time.

3. Any delays will effect the delivery date.

4. Allow 5 to 6 weeks for production time.

5. Allow an extra 6 to 7 weeks for typeset jobs.

6. Books cannot be run in exact quantities. Most often there is an overrun of extra books due to the nature of the production process which necessitates creating an overage. All extra copies (overrun) will be billed out as an extra charge when the books are delivered. The total amount due will depend on the total number of extra books. Less often there may be an underrun which would mean a credit due.

7. If we are typesetting your job, we will first send you a draft, then a proof copy, to check and return for possible corrections. The transit time for shipping and receiving of these proofs and the time it takes for you to check and return them is NOT included in our estimated time of delivery.

8. Your order CANNOT be started with any missing parts such as the manuscript (either printed or on a disk), any art, photos or elements which are also to be included in the book, the signed quote we send to you, written instructions for the cover or text of the book, as well as payment. We start our production time countdown from the first working day after receipt of ALL of the above. Any omission of any of these parts will necessarily delay the start of production.

9. If you submit your manuscript on disk please send along a check copy (printout) for us to refer to. If you would like your book to look similar to a style you have seen submit a sample along with the manuscript and we will try to match it. Please keep in mind that this is not always technically possible. Also, please keep in mind that our state of the art publishing equipment will typeset your book in a way which will be far more attractive than any you have seen to date.
